hi guys

I'd like to install my new fuel consumption gauge MPGUINO (http://mpguino.wiseman.ee/eng) in my 92 GT 3.1
But I'm little bit confused: Which one is the ECM-Box? Left or right?

I need the Injectorsignal (C11) and the VSS (B9 or B10) for the installation

thanks for your help!

I've had that gauge bookmarked for quick purchase, for a few months now but keep forgetting to pick one up.

What options did you go with? and let us know how it works out for ya!

Yeah I've found the right plugs! Thank you guys!!

Now I have to figure out how to connect the pins with the gauge. Looks tricky. I can't find the retainers for the socket pins. I'd like to release the retainers and take the pins out and to crimp together with the wires of the gauge. and then put it back into the socket.
@koots & eric: i need the mpguino for fuel monitoring and for racing
I'll keep to up to date

cheers

When I have spliced into the ECM I didnt remove the pins. I cut the wire a couple inches downstream with the wire going to the pin in one side of the butt connector and the new wire and the other part of the original wire in the other end of the butt connector. Solder and heat shrink and you're good to go.

Just remember on a MPFI engine you are firing 3 injectors at once... so when you set values in that unit you need to account for that somehow...

Yes Mr. Pink I managed to connect the injector signal to the mpguino! It shows the RPM very exact.
But I have troubles with the VSS. I tried B9 AND B10 on the ECM. None of them worked. The gauge always showed 0 km per hour. I think I have to take the signal from the cluster.
I will try this one in the cluster: "C - (DK GRN/WHT) Speedometer" (thanks to Jeff P, he posted the pinout of the full cluster)

Or any other suggestions?
