The ol' Quad Rod 90 GTZ (back in the day)

Decided to make a thread for the ol' GTZ I had in 2002. I don't think we had a members' rides section then. Come laugh at my thoroughly "high-schooled" GTZ in my dad'd driveway. Long before I ever had an actual garage. haha
Bought it with just over 100k on it...105-110 something like that. Paid $1600 out of my McDonald's earnings. haha

First mod was some spray paint on the ground effects that I ended up removing later on with some "goof off" spray. Appropriately named. haha And painted the fillers black. With some new stickers! Yes!

Found out the bumper was trashed when I pulled off the bra. Sooooooooo I put it back on.

Had the windows done with some mirror tint and added some more stickers (including the immortal sunroof bowtie currently on the 91.)

Added about 1000hp with a cone filter and a Dynomax Super Turbo on some crush bent pipe. Painted the IDI for additional intimidation when popping the hood. "HIGH OUTPUT" bitch!

Installed some Walmart pedals and a state-of-the-art CD player with MP3 playback!

Added our football record to the back window to let everyone know we were badass. That's right...8-0 and #1 in NYS Class C.

Picked up some Z26 wheels and sold the 5-spokes to a Bnetter.

Added some Xenon headlights and played in the snow.

Added blue reverse lights and neons to the blue headlights to finish the look. And some more bowties in case anyone didnt catch that it was a Chevy.

Did all my maintenance and gave the car a full brake job because they were shot, and I was too cheap to pay for labor. Unfortunately my work on cars has cost me a lot more money than it has saved me over the years. haha

Glamour shots. I wish I had a decent camera back then. It was some old Olympus that was like 2mp with no video even.

Those who attended Bfest'04 may recognize this shot. (Hint: it's on your shirt)

Also did the design for the 2003 Bfest (and almost every other since)

Made a model of the car. Amazing how much free time you have when you're young...

Put her up for sale and bought the 95Z. The end of an era... Only had the car a year or so, but it made a lasting impression obviously.

I did a lot better job modding the 95Z, but when I built the 91 I saved a few details from the 90 for it and kinda combined the best of both worlds... Hell, it even ended up being gray after owning a white & black one! haha
