ok, new question
i can figure out how to get around it, but i have a question on what way the coolant flows

ok, so that hose that im holding, goes back around the engine against the firewall then goes to the heatercore
then i have another hose going from the water inlet by the thermostat to the heater core
then i have the front hard coolant rail you can see that wraps around and goes back by the heater core too, but just drops off and is not attached to anything

my questions are which 2 hoses am i suppossed to attach to the heater core inlet and outlets
and where does the hose im holding go to?
im gonna go outside and look around once more to see if i can come up with anything

my best idea is to get a 1986-1996 beretta repair manual and look it up

Maybe you missed the fact that he has a 3400 in the car that he is trying to button up. No beretta book will have that.

The chiltons book only tells what hoses to use for the 3.8sc baratta.  Nothing about the 3400's.

on a serious note, just find a pic of someones 3x00 swapped car.  Should kind of help you a little than waiting on some words that might confuse you.

thats what i was trying to do

but, i sat down, thought about it, tried remembering where the hoses went almost 6 months ago when i started this ongoing project, and ive come up with a conclusion, so i think i should be good, just gotta rig up my own radiator hose, and i should be able to continue and get this thing done soon

the one that is metal and wraps around the front goes to the heater core and another one comes out of the thermostat housing and goes to the heater core.

I think the one from the thermostat housing goes in on the passenger side of the heater core.

I either used a stock lower radiator hose, or one for a 3100 car.  As for the heather hoses, you should be using a stock 94-96 style setup.  They both go to a similar area and get rid of that one in your pic.
