gas tank question.

will a gas tank from a 1991 2.2 beretta fit in a 3.1 1990 beretta? just curious since i might need a tank and there is one for $30 in a yard but it's in the model stated above the 2.2. Thanks guys.

It does fit.
Fuel tank part numbers:
4 cyl...........'87-89...2255-5664
6 cyl...........'87-89...2255-5671
all models......'90-92...2256-9935
'93-96...2259-2046

Man, I had to pay like $450 for a new one. It was a pain to find one for the 90-91. All other years are easy to find. My old one cracked and I thought it would be best to get a new one. Wow, 30 bucks, that's great.

well, i've got the tank thing cover now. I got one from a 93 2.2 beretta. The only thing different is the sending unit as this one has a plastic one rather than the metal one in the 90 one. Also the gas pump connectors are differen t as i had to rewire them to fit in mine. Now i've got a good tank on it and it runs good. thanks guys.
