blazer throttle body

i wanna know if a 97 chevy blazer throttle body fits in a 2.8v6 motor. they blazer has the vortec v6 and i was looking at the throttle body and they diameter looks a little bigger than my stock one

On this I'm not sure. What I do know is that the 4.3 TB's linkage is set up for RWD. That and the hole in upper intake is not the same size. A bigger TB is not going to help if you haven't done anything else to the engine. What is your goal and how much do you want to spend? Take a look a these sites for fun

There are alot of cams out there for the 2.8/3.1 and reman engines for about $1500. Many people will burn chips for you after you do some mods. I was going to build a 3.1(lost the car),so I'll be happy to talk about a build with you.
