I have a 1994 Beretta Z76 with a 2.3L Quad 4.

We acquired a hole in the oil pan because of a misplaced jack...

Ok, my problem is it looks like the engine is going to have to be removed to replace the oil pan, there is what looks like an engine cradle arm mounted to the front of the motor that allows 1/2" of clearance on the pan and nil for the room to get to the front pan bolts.

I"m hoping I don't have to yank the engine in order to replace the pan.

Help if anyone has any advice on changing pans while the engine is in place.

I did not have to remove the engine to pull the pan for my 90Z.  I think I just dropped the subframe enough for some extra space and took off the splash cover for the trans.  Took about an hour to replace the gasket.

The 92 up mounting system is completely different than the 90 and 91 (which is different than 90).  The bottom engine brace can only be removed from the bottom of the engine if ALL of the accessories and brackets are removed from the front of the engine.  It is a major PITA.  You must remove the alternator and AC and also the bracket that holds them on.  Then you can remove the brace on the bottom of the engine and then the oil pan.

Yes it's a PITA!
