Need a small daily driver and I want a NEW ONE!
Say $20-25K
What do you guys think?
What the hell is the best buy in that price range?
More info.
It's for my Ex, Beth and she drives about 5,000 miles a year tops!
So it will likely be her last new car.
No Brand loyalty involved at all here.
Reliable, great warranty and yadda, yadda

The wife and I are happy with her new Cruze. $20k for a 1.4L turbo that gets 42mpg. 5yr/100k warranty. You can get them in auto or stick, and the cheap ones are under $17k. Fully loaded with leather and backup camera and whole bunch of other stuff for $24k. It's a really solid feeling car. Not the typical GM Cavalier/Cobalt feel. haha

I was gonna say Cruze or Sonic, I hear good things about the Fiesta (and it's twin, the Mazda 2).

She bought a Cruze 1.4 turbo/auto today.
$22,300 out the door but it is fully loaded.
Moonroof, leather, aluminum wheels, winter tires on steel rims, no charge oil changes as long as the warranty, Roadside, yadda yadda!
Thanx folks!!
It's all the car she will need for a long time.

2LT must be. We looked at one of those with the leather/6spd but decided paying an extra $1000 for 4mpg less than our Eco was a bad idea. Wanna trade our cloth seats for your leather? haha

It was a pretty good deal on an end of year sale,
Really nice car, but it's already a year old, LOL!
Packages are different up here in Canada and so is the pricing.
She got a pretty fair deal on a brand new car!

The new Hyundai's are great cars, they last forever, and you get a lot for how little you pay!

Nice score there! I myself picked up a 2012 Cruze Eco 1.4T 6M back in April of 2012. Got it new off the lot for $18.1k and it's by far one of the nicest cars I've owned. Way better put together than my Alero was and has everything I wanted on it.
Also, I get REALLY crazy mileage with mine. Last time I drove to Denver I got 56.6 MPG. That's on the high side, but my lifetime average over 14k miles is 41MPG and thats 90% city driving.
She will enjoy it!
