I thought you guys would love this....
Class: STREET TIRE OTHER -------------------------------------------------------
1t JEFF HUFFMAN 02 WRX 47.972 46.395 47.319+1 46.234 46.234
2t KYLE STURGEON 05 SRT4 50.622 47.767 47.197 DNF 47.197
3t WEATHERFORD REX 95 ROADMAS 47.964+2 55.731+1 46.323+1 47.887+1 48.323
4. KENNETH NORINE 04 SRT 10 53.058 52.939 50.833 48.602 48.602
5. CHARLES SHEPPARD 00 S4 53.726 50.724 49.164 49.508 49.164
6. MARK ADAMS 06 MUSTANG 53.447 52.428 50.078 50.257 50.078
7. HUGH GILBERT 72 CUDA DNF DNF 52.556 50.654 50.654
I had a great time smashing cones. I could never get used to the width of the car and kept catching cones on the passengers side (rear?) by getting too close to them. Only turned it backwards once. My Pirelli Scorpions were skins and I put on the Avid Touring tires today. Not quite the same feel, but should be a good riding tire.
Great way to end the season. The datalog shows 78 MPH when I was sideways and backwards. Mainly wheelspin. FWD habits don't work very well when the tail wags out too far. I'll have to work on that habit. I got along quite a ways (about like a drift video) until I met full lock on the steering.
