Finally got the motor in and running. It's only been sitting in my garage for months now. Added a Tranzgenic CAI, FFP udp and dogbone, poly insert while I was at it.

I have a 3400 rear manifold and 2.5" downpipe going out a 2.5" cutout before the cat. The cutout gained me 2mph.

The best I could ever run would probably be a low 14.8 with a 1/4 tank and a better launch. My best 60' of the day was 2.17 on a 15.01 run, bouncing off the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift in D.

I also took advantage of my interior redecorating finding my water leak. My damn carpet was probably 100lbs. That thing was soaked, much more than I realized. All my runs this weekend were minus pass, back seat & carpet.

Good luck with keeping the 3400 manifold downpipe flange intact.  It may be better with an auto because it sits an inch farther forward, but on mine i could NEVER keep a gasket good in that flange for more than 2 days.  That's why I'm getting the headers (which will be here soon!)

Bet your tires give quite a smoke show. Try a set of drag radials. It'll also bring down your 60ft time. But then you have to be careful not to break an axel!

I fabricated my own flange out of the steel we had at work, and I got some of the good braided flex pipe. No problems with it yet and it has already been a month or so...

And this is from a video that I posted on bstuff, but forgot to post over here:
