Bleh! I have an alternate idea for tuning the LD9, if I need to go that way. Fortunately, I also have everything I need to do it, and it won't cost me anything but time, if it works right -otherwise I suppose it could cost me an engine!

Edit: Duh! I should read before replying! The last file on your list is the '98 Sunfire GT -that should be the 2.4 LD9 right there! If it isn't, then it is the 2.2, either way NOT a V-6, so there is at least hope! Where did you source that file from Jon?

It came with a bunch that I had... If I had an ecu to test read I could tell you if it's possible.

I'll check when I get home in the DB to see the full list of osid's supported then you can search that against engine application.

Thanks. I do have a spare ECM for that car -I honestly don't remember getting it out of the junk-yard at all, but when I ran the numbers on it, it came back in the same year-group as my Z-24, and applied to both the 2.4 LD9 and the 2.2 OHV engine that those cars had... I still can't remember what it came out of, why I got it (I've always liked having spares of essential parts though), or even when I got it. At least I have a spare to play with... I will also have to diagnose why I have no OBD data-link connection to the ECM, but it wasn't critical until now.

Pm sent. I was always under the impression that the dhp only worked on 96-04? 3X00 and 3800 engines only.

Sold! Just arrived today. Great looking unit, I can hardly wait to start working on my cars with it... Thanks daguse5853z. And now I must start learning (and re-learning what I had found out before and since forgotten) the 'new' language of ECM tuning...

how does it install the software on the pc? does it come with a cd?
