What kind of mileage have you gotten with this setup? City/Highway?

oh trust me, I literally spent the entire day contemplating whether to add this car to the Beretta stable. He's sooo close to me! I wouldn't have the funds amassed until April 1st either way, but I decided to pass. I've decided to funnel that money into installing my new drivetrain goodies for the '95...my car is begging to get fixed :( and it has to get its way since I have so much sentimental value attached to it...damn you feelings!!!!

I should know this because I put 2000 miles on it this winter breaking in the clutch but all I remember is mid twenties city in the dead of winter. Ill have to report back on that one later.

There are 2 quirks in reguards to this swap. The ecm doesnt fire the AC clutch relay when the right conditions are met. To use the AC I wired a switch mounted to the passenger side hush panel to run the compressor if the hvac controls are in the ac or defrost positions. Something we just switched off in the winter. The AC had since leaked out and I havent traced the issue.
If you disconnect the battery passlock will disable the fuel pump. What you have to do then is trick it into thinking its a 96 GrandAm by pluging a small harness (includded) wired to a pontiac gauge cluster and ignition switch into the obdII port. You can then follow the passlock algorithm to relearn and retain the code.
I will also include a memory maintainer which consists of a 12v lighter plug that adapts to fit a 9 volt. Ive used it. It will prevent passlock from locking you out.

The car really runs and drives nice. My Z26 just feels old. The windows are slow the locks feel weak. The twin cam power locks and windows are much faster. They just act like brand new. It feels more solid than my Z(cause it is) the brakes are more responsive. The steering is lite feeling (like a base) but quick like my GTZ. The only things that take away from the stock feel are the throaty muffler and poly motor mount.
The year we got it I took it to an autocross and it surprised everyone including me. And at Bfest Canada I was neck and neck with Mike Pride on the road course in his GTZ. He eventually got me by a hair. He cheats though I think

lite dent in the front corner of the drivers side fender. I cant seem to take a pic that will actually show it though. There is probably at least one lite dent on every side panel

Ha! Cheats! Heck I was proud that my (at the time) 225k mile '90 Quad kept up with this car... Set up VERY well, and has the right trans mated up to the 2.4L. This would be a great reliable DD Beretta to add to someone's stable. Sorry to see you selling it Brad...

ya its kind of a shame to get rid of this one but I gotta thin out the herd this year. Hopefully I get to see it go to another Beretta person.
Ill be daily driving this car all week to see what kind of milage its actually getting.

Ya your right, but im kind of hung up on the Z26. I love the way a Z04 car looks with color keyed GTZ wheels too.
Theres a few things I have noticed in the last week driving this car.
There is a subtle rattle im hearing from time to time at the front right wheel like a strut mount but looking everything over I havent really found any issues. Everything feels and looks solid.
Also when shampooing the carpet stay the other day I realized its not as clean as I thought. There are some stains (most of which the floor mats hide) that didn't come out compleatly.
And I noticed a few very minor dents at the front of the replacement hood. Not a big deal as it needs to be painted anyways. Nothing a quick skim of body filler wouldn't eliminate.
In light of these small issues im dropping the "as is" price to $1300.

Just filled up today. Got 31mpg driving pretty easy to and from work the past week. Not really true city or hwy miles. I take all back roads 55mph with a stop sign about every 2 miles.
I checked the oil level. I added about 1/4 of a quart to get it back to the top mark. Its been about 800 miles since the last oil change. Ive never owned an LD9 before. Not sure if they usually burn oil or not.

Just found an old track slip in this car from canada in 08'. It ran a 16.06 @ 86mph with a lousy 2.3 sec. 60' due to shitty tires on 17" wheels. I also found a crushed flex-pipe on the car when I got home from that trip. Exhaust was restricted to a 3/4" hole at one point. Now I want to know what it would run with my slicks on it.
