Interior lights always on

Post by olovi »

Why interior lights are always on, even when I close doors? Maybe bad switches, because when I press it, lights dim just a little bit but wont go off..

I had that problem with my 90GT, it was the dimmer switch. I took it out and apart rebent the arm that is contact with the dimmers dial. It's been so long I don't remember just how I did it(it was easy though). When it was done the dimmer worked the way it should and the interior lights only came on when the dot was locked in place. I'm sure the dielectric grease I used on the dial contact helped some too.

Usually if you push on one of those switches and the lights dim a little, that one isn't the problem... Good luck.
