hey guys I have an 88 Beretta gt 2.8l 5spd its been sitting for 3 years (I had no time for it with kids now and all) im getting a code 15 for my cts which I did remove a while ago to install a mechanical gauge. I had no sensor installed for some time (when I used to drive it) I don't remember it throwing a code when I removed that sensor. So anyways the code wont clear even when I plug in a new sensor (not screwed into the manifold just plugged in), when you start the car the fan runs constantly once you start driving it seems the fan gets to hot and the relay shuts it down?? or it just over heats I don't know. Also when im driving and come to a stop it idols high and I have to rev it up to get it to drop back down.
Anybody have a link or a proper way to adjust / test TPS and IAC
The motor is not stock it has been built and never tuned could be part of the problem also It has a full build with huge cam so if anybody could throw me some info ie.. chip or standalone ect.......
Thanks for reading I will throw up some pics I just haven't been on this sit in over 5 years I see some familiar names here from when I used to be on

WOT-tech for tuned chips but you may need more information than "huge cam"
Your motor should have 2 coolant sensors, one for the gauge one for the computer. If the code is coming on, it's the sensor that's under your throttle body.
No adjustment is needed on TPS or IAC just an idle relearn process
This is the process I have used over the years
1. Remove battery power for one (1) minute. Restore battery power and place air conditioning controls (if equipped) in the "off" position.
2. Firmly apply the parking brake and block the drive wheels. Start the engine, shift the transmission to drive for automatics and neutral for manuals.
3. Allow the engine to run until the engine cooling fan has cycled once, or a maximum of 10 minutes.
4. Turn the ignition key to the "off" position for at least 5 seconds.
5. Repeat Step 2.
6. Allow the engine to run for at least five (5) minutes.
The correct IACV values for proper idle control will now be stored.

As for the sensor it is the one under the tb 2 wires grey/grey red
Where is the sensor for the cluster gauge located?

It must be screwed in placed to complete the circuit. Do this, then clear codes. Re-drive car. Re-report back findings.

I swapped my horn and fan relay and the horn still worked I don't know if its an accurate test though
