EGR pipe/tube

I'm in the process of restoring my Indy and accidentally broke my EGR tube. I had the exhaust manifold, EGR tube and EGR valve off of the car as one piece and somehow the EGR tube cracked and then broke. Does anyone have one of these lying around? I would also need the adapter nut that connects the EGR tube to the exhaust manifold. It was rusted on and got destroyed when my dad removed it from the EGR tube.

Thanks.

I should have one, let me check. Do you need the EGR too? I have one that's very low miles, was bought new from GM.

I forgot to mention its for the 3.1 T engine. The valve itself is still good. I'm more interested in the pipe and the adapter nut/nipple, whatever you would call it.

I was going to say worse case scenario would be to cut the existing pipe completely off and buy a newer version that is readily available, cut off the end that attaches to the EGR since it's different and then weld it to the older spacer piece that is used on the MPFI motors.

I'm going to have to be careful with my Indy when I go and remove this part.

i am very glad in my area, it can be deleted. They always break at the most inconvenient times

It probably can be deleted in his area too... I know for a fact that I did my last necessary emissions test this year so I can do WHATEVER I want to that car now and it will never have to be smoged again.

Wouldn't my 88GT Beretta be considered a classic because it is 26 years old. It would be considered exempt?

Depends on local laws... Not all are the same. CT is 25yrs old and no emissions necessary.

I can't seem to figure out how to send PMs...maybe its because I'm new on here and I don't yet have that ability. Anyway, heavywoody and 88GTRacer please post pics and we'll go from there. Thanks.
