Hello everyone ...

i just found this board and i was very happy about it because i had never seen a beretta in germany before and i thought im alone with my baby.

so last week i cleaned and polished the car and it looked like it was new ;)

i bought the car from a man in germany but i think th never cleaned it or something like that ... and its still not in a good shape (painting, rims, and interiour ...) but im going to fix the rims and i want to get a z26 bodykit and a new painting.

and thats my problem, here in germany i cant find any parts for my beretta and so i hope i can find some people here with some contact adresses for me and my beretta - that would help me alot...

so all in all ... hello to everyone at the board

Hello and welcome to the board.

There are some European members here so maybe they can help with parts.

That's a good lookin' GTU.  It's hard to keep that front air dam in one piece for most people.  I would think you should be able to get parts from an Opel dealer, they usually handle the parts for the US models.

It's strange seeing a beretta parked next to the european cars that we don't have in the us.  Well, we had the Omega (Cadillac Caterá), and the Astra (as a saturn) is coming next year i think.

hm im thinking about to change to the z bodykit because it looks better to me ... i also want to restorate the complete interior now ... its all red, but it stays in this color i just want to get some new things in there esspecially the floor and the seats because they are very used.

hm i need the front bumber, rear bumper, side skirts and the thing (sorry i dont know the english word) at the end of the trunk ... spoiler ?!

color doesnt matter because im going to paint it in aubergine or deepblack.

would be very nice to hear from you, weba

thanx

haha .. i think the way youre are wondering seeing an us car parking near europe ones the people hear in my area are wondering seeing such a car ... they are all fascinated ... and they all think the car needs 20liter gas per 100km hahaha .....

but the gas prices hear in germany are very expensive ... 1liter costs 1,37€ ... ~ 1,55 $ .... thats pretty much so its hard to use the beretta as a daily ....

I hope you reconsider the swap, but anyway there's a junkyard in sweden that has the whole Z kit, shipping is the hard part.

Allso i'm sure you can find the kit from there allso, i can't remember the german site that had european junkyards listed there and cars, but i remember seeing one or 2 Z cars some time ago there, i'm sure you can find it with google.

Welcome!

That is a nice looking GTU.  Most in the US are not in that good of shape anymore.

If you were in america Im sure nearly any one of us would take the parts you end up removing.

Yep, VERY nice GTU  I think there would be people going on rampages here if gas was $7-8 a gallon.  Though I'm sure we'll see that soon enough, especially in California where they see the extreme lows and extreme highs.

What comes to interior, there are no aftermarket (except dashes & floor mats i have seen somewhere) and GM has discontinued prettymutch everything. Junkyards and other owners are your source.

What bodyparts do you need? Z-kit? Junkyards again, and maybe the front is still buyable from GM.

General service parts like wheel bearings etc, summitracing.com for exsample.

Or you can also check www.mrzperformance.com - they have some nice parts to add - I just ordered one fil-up panel for my autoradio !

And if you need more pieces - there is a junkyard here in Geneva with two white GTZ beretta - so tell me and we can arrange a shipping to Germany - where are you exactly there ? In the North ? In the South ? It's not so far away from Sitzerland so maybe we can meet once !

Cheers,
Alex
