First Beretta, first ever project!

I found a 1991 Chevy Beretta at a junkyard for $500! I never seen one, I never even heard of them before but I fell in love with this car. It runs, head gasket is leaking but the part came in yesterday so it will be addressed for now. I’m mainly focused on upgrading the interior and making it look nice before I look into engine performance. I’d love to learn more in the meantime so any suggestions or friends in the community would be great! ImageImageImageImage

Welcome to the site! These cars have a lot of potential, and can be pretty easy to work on. Glad you were able to save it. How is the head-gasket repair going?

Looks like a nice clean Base model with a 2.0l. Did it come with the automatic or the manual?

Hupfpfpf! (Holding my breath, waiting for a response...). His car is an automatic, look for the trans-fluid dipstick handle at the back of the air intake filter housing. A head gasket, even on a 2.0, is not the best place to start learning mechanics... I doubt most salvage yards would offer $500 back for a car in pieces...
