cooling fan wiring

Hello I have a 1988 Beretta GT 6cyl I plan to get on the road this year. I got it running and couldn't get the cooling fan to turn on. I figured out someone had cut the wires and rewired the fan to the heater blower. I turn on the heater and the cooling fan turns on. Id like to change the wiring back to how it should be. I was reading there are 2 temp sensors and a relay I need to be looking for. Where can i find those at? Any help and additional info appreciated. Thanks!
