I'm looking to get 4 new tires for my 1989 GTU and wanted whiter-lettered. Do these exist?  Does anyone have any recommendations?  I don;t want to spend a fortune though.
Thanks!
LOU

You could check out the  Tire Rack online, they have almost all tires and you can get an idea and buy from them if you want.      www.tirerack.com

BF Goodrich T/A, Cooper Cobra GT, Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 are the only ones I could find that have RWL's.

Thanks for the links guys!  Does anyone know if white letters look good on a GTU?  Anyone here have any pics to share?  SOmetimes I look at the car and picture them to look great and other times I think they may not look so good.  Seeing a pic would be helpful if possible.
Thanks again for your insight guys!

I don't thin there's enough side wall on the 16s to have a white-lettered tire.  The GTU originally just came with black wall Goodyear Eagle VR55 (gatorback) tires.

Thanks again guys but I could have sworn I have 15 inchers although I have never put new tires on this Beretta to know for sure...I'll have to check.  Maybe once I see the tire in person I'll be able to better gauge what they will looki like on the vehicle.  As I said, part of me thinks the RWL tires would look good onthe car and another part of me says no.  By the way, the car is white as well if that makes a difference in what the RWLs will look like.
I'll post a nice pic of my car as soon as I get one as I might use it as my avatar here too. I've been a lurker here at this GREAT site for a long time-ever since I tried to remedy a wet driver's side floor problem that you are all too familiar with I'm sure!!!
Hope you all, and your Berettas, are well!
Best,
LOU

White letter tires on 16's

they were about $100 a piece but this set has been on this car for about 6 years now and they still have half tread left

I can vouch for the Firestone Indy 500s. They were pretty good in dry, wet and snow when I had them on my car. Lasted for about 50k miles, and Im an agressive driver.

Unfortunately I can't take the credit for the way that car looks as it belongs to my Girlfriend Kelly (KelZ26 on bstuff), so I'll relay the sizzle to her.

I've always liked BF Goodrich Radial TAs... can't go wrong with a classic.

They come in a huge variety of sizes in 14, 15, and 16s too so finding the size you want shouldn't be a problem.
