Wasn't there someone on the "other" board selling a set of true directional Z rims. This was alooong time ago, a year or two.

From what I know and echoing everyone else, the Z wheels are NOT directional. And for that matter I don't know of any Chevy that had directional wheels with the exception of Corvettes and SOME Camaros and Firebird/Trans Ams.
Keep in mind that the Beretta was and is the poor man's sports car. Directional tires/wheels are pricey. Can you really see them making the rest of the car so cheap and then putting some nice dressing like directional wheels/tires on them?

I don't wanna sound like a jerk here, but is that verifiable or rumor? Because in over 5 years at a GM dealership as a wrench in the '90's I never heard that. Someone got a link or something?

Ok, I see what you're talking about Snow ,but I think we're misunderstanding each other here. You're referring to directional being what seems proper for looks sake. From what I see there's nothing that says you couldn't put those wheels on in any pattern you wanted. A mechanics definition of directional tires:
Tires and/or wheels that have to be mounted in a specific place in order to meet manufacturer intended performance/handling. For example when you buy a Corvette tire or wheel, you can't just go in and say:
I need a tire/wheel. You need to tell them you need the Front Driver tire/wheel or the Rear Passenger tire/wheel as they are designed for one position only on the car or ride/performance can be affected.
Now when I hear "directional tires/wheels" THAT is what I assume the person to mean. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Ah, gotcha. Well if you mounted directional tires on these, then you could really only install them on one side

. In Beretta-land, that's what I know about directional wheels.
So we're both right in different contexts. Sounds fair to me .
