I have a fourm and It has been around for 2 yrs and 6 months and past 6 months it has been dead what could i do to get some more members?

Word of mouth is really all I can think of, and try to throw up some links on any other boards you visit.  Submit it for google, yahoo, etc to try to get a bit more traffic.
