WANTED, GTU/Indy Wheels, Dead or Alive

NOT looking for the assorted common comments of, "Good luck with that, you will never find them..." or, "I used to have a set, gave them away for 5-cents and a stick of chewing-gum 400 years ago..." and other $#it-talk like that. :) Nothing useful to contribute here, please save your keyboard...
:deadhorse:

I AM looking for a usable driver-quality set of 16" OEM GTU or Indy wheels, two Left and two Right. I don't care if the colors are all the same, I don't care if they have some curb-rash, even a bit more 'moderate' damage to the rim (so long as they are still useable), I don't care if they have perfect rubber, racing-slicks, or no tires on them at all... Center-caps are NOT important to me -I have a spare set of those already. I want a set of wheels for my GTU to go back to OEM look, instead of the black GTZ rims I've had on there since my original GTU wheels were effing STOLEN right out of my back yard way over ten years ago.

I'm asking here because, duh, "Beretta" parts  , and because this is simply the BEST automotive Forum I've ever been part of :Rose: , even as dead-slow as it is here now, and I wouldn't WANT to ask anywhere else, even given the chance. I don't do face-butt, palm-in-the-face, twit-face or any of the other (anti)-social-media $#it-strings out there, so I don't need to be directed patiently to any of them either, I know there are good resources there, I still won't use them, thanks for the understanding. =@

Right now, I am just not feeling the love towards my Berettas that I would like to, and maybe, just MAYBE, if I could get this one detail lined-up on this particular overall fantastic car, it would inspire me to yank the locked-up F40 six-speed out of her and rebuild it, and get her back on the road, and maybe even lined-up for fresh paint this Summer... Who knows? Maybe I'll just throw them in the loft of the garage to collect dust for the next five years, satisfied that I have one more box checked on the list of, "Now if I only had the time..."

Anyone got a set, or even PART of a set, PM me and I WILL get back to you, we can discuss price and shipping details in private if you like. I WILL note in this thread if/when I get a set... So, if I haven't said otherwise, I am STILL looking for a set, or died before I could update here...
Thanks.

Thank you 90INDYLIN, I do already have some 'feelers' out there for them through that source, and I will update if that pans-out for me, the fact that I don't care if the wheels are 'pretty' may help me there... :D
There are some overpriced options through ebay too, but I can't bring myself to pay close to a thousand bucks for old factory 16" wheels for a car I bought for $400 and drove home with those same wheels (and new tires on them back then, too...).

I have considered stealing the wheels from my Teal Indy for the GTU, but as these cars get older and rarer, I am less and less interested in robbing parts from one just for another. I still have hope the Teal Indy will see life again someday too.

I was also going to suggest car-part. And Searchtempest .com is a quick way to search through all of craigslist easy.

Searchtempest is a new one on me -I'll try that. I THINK I have a solid lead on a partial-set. A bit spendy though due to shipping, but such is the price to be paid for the pleasure of living far away from annoying neighbors out here on the moon... :D The last time I had a lead on GTU wheels I could have pulled myself, a friend found them at some U-Pull-It yard, but they gave him a hard time about showing him how to use their tire dismounting tools, so he said f-it and left them there... By the time I was able to make it down to the yard later, they were gone... Probably because they had been left near the front and ready for the next guy to grab easily, or for them to chuck into the scrap-bin... If I have to over-pay for that final wheel, then so be it at that point. Sad also to think I can buy decent aftermarket wheels brand new for this kind of price, but I really just want the correct rims on that car again.

Yeah, sometimes you want what you want regardless of price. I could have bought some used Mustang drag wheels to fit on my Beretta for cheap I'm sure. But I'm being financially retarded and widening some 15" Lumina APV sawblades with DIY beadlocks.

Also, if you haven't tried pirateship .com, you gotta give it a look. UPS for literally like half price. They must get a huge volume discount and pass most of it on to the customer.

Thank you, I appreciate that they are staying in "the family" as it were. I know I am shutting a lot of potential doors by staying out of the 'other' Beretta sources, I just can't stomach modern social media.

I THINK I have this sorted-out, but not 100% sure until the end of the month, I will update here either way. Curious to know where you are finding so many GTU/Indy wheels though... Sounds like you may be about to become my new best friend. :D

:Bravo: Got 'em! A little pricier than I was hoping for overall, but not bad for the current availability and overall economy we have now. Three even came with center-caps and screws, and they are all GTU 'grey', so I don't have to worry about repainting if I don't want to. White inserts might look really nice, of course, and if an 'extra' set becomes available for the right price (hint, hint), I might snap them up too just to have that option. In the meantime, I may actually find the motivation to pull the six-speed out and open it up, once I get a new shelter built for the two-wheeled vehicles currently residing in my work-bay (I won't kick them out into the winter weather this year).
Car-part.com sourced most of them for me, and definitely made the set affordable. Without that resource I don't think I would have gotten GTU wheels any time soon. Thanks to those who offered suggestions, much appreciated!

Car-part is great for obscure stuff. Sweet deal.
