John's GTU project thread

Post by 6r8ph1X »

Well i wanted to post this on here since bstuff is GHEAY!!!! anyway. as some of you know i got some GTU parts mainly a broken lip and the rear skirts and i will go back for the side skirts as soon as i get some more money. Wel 3 days ago i got to sanding but didn't get far because i had fine grit sand paper. But yesterday i went and got a sanding wheel, some plastic weld and a can of black primer. i got to work sanding the lip down a bunch and got it to a point that i'm happy with. Then i got out the plastic weld. It says say no to drugs on the back lol. So i mixed it up and let me tell ya. WOOOOOOHHHH!!!!!! does that stuff STANK!!!!!! I accidently bent over into a big wiff of it and it hurt! lol. any way got up this morning and went to check on it and it is welded YAY!!! I now have a complete lip!!! I will probably resume progress on it Monday because my sundays are generaly filled up and i have no free time. so here's the pics of before and i'll get some progress pics sometime soon.
