Well, I just brought home my latest project which has bumped the Beretta yet again.   I can't help it, I just love toys, especially big ones for the mud.

This is a 1973 Ford F-250 chassis with a 4" Rancho spring lift and a 3" body lift with 37X13-16.5 Super Swamper TSLs.  It was a mud drag truck, but I got it sans engine.  It had a Chevy 350 in it with a t-350 trans, but I had no desire to feed something that ran on 105 octane so I just bought the rolling chassis with the transfer case.  I'm building a 351W and a C-6 to put in it.

It'll kind of be a mix of driver and toy; since I only work 6 miles from here I'll probably drive it back and forth for that quite a bit once I finish it.

Thanks, I know I like it.  It's gonna take a lot of work honestly, but it should be pretty sweet when I do finally finish it.

I just couldn't get over how nice the body is.  Almost (there are a few very small spots) no rust on it, and the frame is like new as well.

I've lost a lot of weight actually. Back in my BFest days I weighed between about 260 and 280, and now I weigh in right around 190.

Yeah, the list of to-do on it isn't that long either, just expensive.

1. Engine (going fairly mild, aiming at 350ish HP)
2. Trans rebuild (just to be safe)
3. Heater core
4. Tires (206.99 each)
5. Brake shoes and turn down drums.
6. New shifter, I hate the B&M in it now.

That's all it needs.

Nice looking Zach. I'm helping a buddy of mine build a 351W as well.   his is going into a nice sleeper, a '94 Cougar with nitrous.    BTW, hows the new house?

I like the house, but the garage is completely insufficient. It's full and all that's in it is the Beretta.  I can't even get my Samurai or the Ford into the door cause it's only 7" high.
