Winter time means snows..

My winter projects are simple.  I am replacing my Viggen dash with the optional carbon fiber OEM one.

I am also upgrading to full stage 4 which means my winter tune(stock 13psi) will be replaced with an ecu tuned for my intercooler and just added turbo inlet for 18psi.

I bought another car because I cant stand to drive my normal winter vehicles (Pickup/Beretta)because of how much time I have in them.  I hate salt.

the box is custom made, no company makes one for our car....so local shop is fabbing them all....$105 for the box....carpet to match the interior.....

i got my sub and amp from woofersetc.com for $150...$80 for the amp, and $70 for the sub

Its only for this year.  We are buying a house.  My fiance's Saturn is paid off soon.  She is giving it to me, we are buying her a new car.  I am immediately getting rid of the Saturn to get a Vr6 5spd Passat Wagon as a daily.

The Vig is awesome in the winter with the snows and help of my winter tune which takes out most boost in 1st gear and limits peak boost to stock levels.  One more winter wont hurt it, I keep the salt off of it.

Damn nice set-up you got there on your 3.  Too bad there wasn't something like that for us to get our hands on.....

Now I call it a project.  I'm used to just getting on and riding.  I don't have to worry about blowing something up every time I go out.

So yes, it is relaxing.

winter projects... Nothing much really.  play with tunercatRT, maybe mock up a turbo manifold on the dead 91 GTZ (which is going to be reborn in the spring with a new head)

Un car related, I am trying to find some damn information on upgrading the motor on a suzuki SP125 eduro bike to give it a lot more power.  hard to find this information online.

Other than that, ride the Raptor on days that its pretty warm, and on days when its snowing and then take it out on the roads

Other than that, nothing that cost too much money, I can make my GTZs really quick but they wont pull like the 4 wheeler which is a satisfying acceleration fix
