It should be the custom 3.4 with 4T60.

The car will be sold with a scrap title though.

Aren't there ways around that if you REALLY wanted this car on the road?

Couldn't you graft on the front clip of a production yellow Indy Coupe and use that VIN and Title?

It's a bit sketchy, but if done right, wouldn't that work?

Yes it would.  Around here you could title it as a model a or homebuilt also.

If you could pick the car up cheap, for say $5k, then I would not worry too much about destroying the value.

I mean, the retail for the aluminum Bowtie Block was $5k.  There is alot of money and R&D in that engine and the back half convertible section.

Really, All you'd need is just to change the VIN tags on the dash and on the drivers side door frame under the carpet.

But it will probably go to some INDY pace car nut anyways.

LOL.

I thought of that too, not quite as drastic.

You get the point though lol.  Many of the cars don't have much of a chance of being street legal, but that Indy was very doable.

The auction in Pam Beach has the Turbo Beretta the V8 Beretta and one of the race cars. Me and Alan are lucky enough to go. Pictures of the cars to follow.
