NEW JERSEY Berettafest 09 Proposal

Post by NastyEllEssWon »

The written history of New Jersey began with the
exploration of the
Jersey Coast by Giovanni da Verrazzano in 1524, though the region had
been settled for millennia by Native Americans. At the time of
European contact, the area was populated by many tribes of the Lenape.
The New Jersey region soon came under the control of the Swedes and
the Dutch resulting in a struggle in which the Dutch were victorious.
However, the Dutch colony of New Netherland was seized by the English
in 1664. New Jersey was one of the original 13 colonies that joined
the American Revolutionary War in 1776. It signed the Articles of
Confederation in 1779 with Princeton acting as the nation's capital
for four months in 1783. New Jersey became independent after the
American Revolutionary War, in which several crucial battles were
fought in New Jersey resulting in American victories. In 1787, New
Jersey was the third state to ratify the newly drafted United States
Constitution.

In the nineteenth century, New Jersey cities led the nation into the
Industrial Revolution. Beretta's were once assembled at the GM plant
in Linden NJ, which finally closed its doors when the last vehicle
assembled rolled out of the factory on 4/21/2005.

New Jersey is also home to two of the nations most well known
dragstrips, Raceway Park @ Englishtown NJ and Atco Raceway @ Atco NJ.
New Jersey has a rich Automotive History and following. Home to the
famous New Jersey boardwalk and shoreline the nightlife is sure to
attract anyone willing to have some fun.

The itinerary cant be proposed yet as I dont know next race seasons
track schedule. I will give you as much info I can about everything
there is to offer.

Englishtown runs Thursday and Friday nights usually and Saturdays in
the morning. Average costs for Test n Tunes are 30 dollars per person
with the track requiring a helmet for ALL vehicles regardless of
times. Depending upon the cost factor Englishtown also offers a
roadcourse track as well. There is plenty of space for non racers to
show their cars as well.

Six Flags Great Adventure is very close to the area and has an awesome
selection of roller coasters and attractions. Six Flags is also home
to Hurricane Harbor which is a nice sized water theme park seperate on
the grounds of Six Flags. Group Rates would be available with prior
knowledge.

Pt Pleasant/Belmar @ NJ Shore is an awesome place for night time
debauchery. A Full day can be spent on the rides, boardwalk, games ,
awesome mini golf range and all the fried nj food you can think
of....ie fried oreos and fried twinkies as well as our awesome giant
shore slices of pizza. Bar Anticipation (bar a) is one of nj hottest
clubs for those of you looking to get your hair wet...among other things.

Not Listed For Length of Time From Area: ATLANTIC CITY! If your up for
an hour ride just south of freehold, down rt 9 and on the expressway
