car starts then shuts off

Everytime I start my car now it shuts down after a couple of seconds. I have replaced the cpu- oil psi switch - crank posi sensor and the wire from it to the coil- plugs - map sensor and it still will not keep running.
I don't know what else to do. I noticed when I step on the gas pedal it dies immediately and if I press the gas pedal while trying to start it will not start, but once I take my foot off and try to restart it starts right up.

engine codes?

check the throttle sensors AND wires to them.

by the way, excessive vacuum leak could cause this, such as accidentally leaving the brake booster unplugged.

I'm a bit confused as to why the crank sensor was messed with.  This isn't too normal.  Other than questioning of codes I recommend that you ask "did I do something?" to the car, I think your insite of how it got this way is the best key to fixing it.  At least, this would be easier than just getting the car plunked in your lap not having any hints!

amckevitz@yahoo.com is my email.  If you dont get a fast enough answer here, email me and we'll kill it.

Could be inadequate fuel pressure.  It is allowed to build up then runs out when started.  Would also explain no start on full gas pedal as there would be a fast drop in the pressure.  Hook up a gage and check it.
