I can't get the set screw out of this mount??? No. 11 (fig 7)is a set screw that is stripped so I drilled it and try to extract it but there is no give.YES I used torch and PB blaster.So I went to the flea market YESTERDAY and got 18" tap wrench to get more torque still nothing.If anyone has any ideas I am up for it...

No.4 is a trans axle support Assembly,NO.11 is a set screw that goes in a(No. 4)slotted tube that is tapered and expands it(the tube part in No. 4).that is how it is held so it adsorbs the movement of the motor No. 8 + 11 are mounts to the body.

First, remove the whole thing if you haven't already, easier to do this on the bench.  Does the screw go into metal or a rubber bushing??

If metal just drill for a larger bolt and rethread.

If rubber get out the moto-tool and a cutter head and scour out all the rubber and replace the bushing.

There is always the junkyard too... just try and remove the set bolt first and if you find one you can take the mount off and use it.

Remember, the junkyard is your friend.

the one I have is a set screw and I have a new set screw&mount(I get cost of GM parts)Q

EIf rubber get out the moto-tool and a cutter head and scour out all the rubber and replace the bushingthe mount has a metal sleeve so it is not touching the rubber.I went to machine shop so tapping is not the deal just figured that maybe someone may have a better solution than taking out No.4

There is no problem too large a suitable amount of high explosives cannot handle.

I just got it done  today had to drop half of the engine cradle
