Well I was driving my car last night and I knew it was getting close to the 300,000 mile mark. Well I watched it turn to 300,000 last night and since it hit that mark it hasn't moved off of it. The dash is digital so I'm wondering *** is going on with it. Didn't know if anyone else out there has run into this problem or not. Any advice would be helpful at this time. Thanks ahead of time guys/gals !

wow ! it is funny. I guess GM never thought in 88-89 that their design would ever make it to 300k miles.

Yeah but its going to look rather funny when it goes in for inspection and the odometer hasn't moved over a year. Can't be legal ... consdering i have to drive it to the garage and such .....
to be honest, i don't plan on selling the car ... if i get rid of it it will be either wrecked or so rusted out its junk yard bound ....

Sounds to me like you're gonna need a new mileage chip in that dash (actually, it's more of a control chip than just a mileage chip). Maybe a junkyard will sell just the chip without making you buy the entire digital dash?
