In loving memory of the Z26...RIP

I bought this car in the fall of 2003 not long after I started my first semester of college. I got it as a pretty clean, unmolested 1-owner on ebay. After I won the bid I made the 10hr round trip to Boston to bring it home.

Then I started to black it out with tinted windows and then wheels and a full black interior.

Eventually I got around to performance like the intake, exhaust & suspension. I rocked it like that for a while.

In 2006 it received the next big list of upgrades: 3400, FFP mount & udp, true CAI, full 2.5" exhaust with cut out... and became the fastest N/A Beretta ever on a stock 4t60e with my 14.94 slip at Lebanon. I also added some finishing touches to the interior. I even won Best Custom Interior & Exterior at Bfest NE 07.

After that is when it went downhill.

More NY winters FTL... my gas tank rusted through and when I got underneath to replace it I realized how bad the rot was. I wish my exhaust guy would have given me a heads up, but Image happens. I decided to poke the bubbles in the door jambs and most of it was paper thin and went right through. That's when I kinda started looking for a replacement body.

And I grabbed a couple pics of the worst of it after I already bought my 91 project. It was pretty nasty. So when April came I plucked the motor and stripped it down of all its usable parts.

And here are the June pics as it got sent to the crusher.

i remember every step you made with this car from the time you bought it till the end.

like the pics of it on the loader. all i did with mine was drag it outside with my unlces truck and leave it for the tow-truck guy to pickup. looked pretty much like yours did.

Fisting rockers FTL... Mine is getting close to that.

BUT... Amy just got word that she is getting her job back at Exiter schools... And she told me when I was telling her local Legacy GT's were only 13k with 45k on the clock, that if she still had her job she would say lets go buy it....... I'm waiting for the subject to come back up again. :P

Hey as long as its a 2.5 Turbo 5-speed I don't mind that its a Scooby(thats the one thing I will not compromize on, Color, sunroof, power options... I really don't care about), Also it will go nice in the snow. AWD FTW!

I never did drive Geoff's. Tiffany did and loved it, so she wants me to turbo hers.
