ignition problem

Hello,
I own a '92 Beretta w/2.2L. Engine was completely rebuilt 2 years ago. New plugs and wires but kept existing sensors. Recently started cutting off spark during acceleration. Nothing gradual, an immediate cut off. 5-speed manual tranny. Changed CPS and tried new MAP sensor. Problem persists. Had ignition module tested at AutoZ**e. Module was plucked from junk yard engine('89 2.0). Watched as they tested it, all lights came back green although one light was a little slow about it. Tested on a Wells tester which makes me suspicious. I still think it's the module. A-B diagnostic gave no codes from the computer. Running out of other things to blame. Anybody help?
Update on 9-09-07: Took a chance and installed a new ignition module. Problem solved!
