Is it polssible to swap a older style rear axle on a 95+? I know it will mount up but I am unsure about the upper spring perches. I just wondered if anyone has tried or done this before.

The upper spring perches are different. 88-94 have small perches on the axle and big perches on the body. 95+ is the same for both, and nothing matches up.

I want a 95 axle in mine for a coilover project Ive been considering. I have a 95 and a 94 at my house I can compare the upper perches, but I would think a 95 spring would fit over the "nub" on the 94 perch?

I want to convert it to FE7 and I wanted to have to avoid buying another set of Eibachs. Anyone have a set (or just the rears) for a 95+ laying around they want to get rid of?
