Quad hit 155,000 miles

Post by Asylum »

Still running perfect, oil pressure as good as new (Mobil 1 FTMFW!) and except for the damn paint failure on the roof, which is a bloody embarassment, still all original and 100% rust free!

One of the survivors! Going into hiding next week until spring.

And I still hate Quads!

155K miles is a lot for a quad. Must have been well maintained all it's raucous life.

I think a Quad with a 3.73 3t40 would be NEAT!

All the 5 speed shifting stuff is a pain for an old man!

Just think. Lots of gearing and click, click and it's done!

LOL!

shift_7000 was fun until I discovered shift_8000. :)

I still take the quads out once in awhile for old times sake.

I was just noticing, that is 9600 miles since I picked it up in Long Beach CA from Steve (SoCalBeretta) in 2007, and 3000 of that was just getting it home.

About 2K a year.

NO! I REALLY don't like it!!

As I have stated many times, the only reason I bought it was because I wanted a white GTZ with no rust. Would have preferred a white V6, which I now have as well.

But no one is going to buy it from me, so here it stays, and is going to sleep for the winter very soon.

That black car is tired and is not comparable to Eric's white GTZ. Plus, Eric is more out going than that Black GTZ dood. Every time someone talks about a certain culture/race, that one dood HAS to make a internet scene. It gets old and there really is no scene to make anymore. Those times have passed.

Just my opinion and sorry for the rant.

I am surprised at the white paint on the GTZ, it's not peeling yet? My old white GTZ peeled EVERYWHERE! RAWRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! :runsies:

Are you drunk?

I'm the one with the paint falling off the stupid thing! Everytime I go to the coin wash I feel like I need to sweep up with all the damn paint chips flying around

But it's a pretty lame white in '91 anyway.

$5000 out of my bank account will get that fixed as soon as I can get the damn thing in the shop.!

I never read (I dont think) about your white paint being defective. I always thought you had a rare breed. lol

Drunk? Nah not yet, it'll take a little bit more than what I have in stock right now to get drunk.
