Sealing water leaks

I have a 94 automatic and have torn out the carpet to get at some leaks.
I have sealed all the areas in the Cowl and drain flap. I still have a small leak coming in at a seam in the body. I picked away a boat load of caulk. Looked like it was packed with a white silicon or vinayl caulk. My question should I recaulk with a silicon based sealer or fill in with a bondo glazing material?

Dang, I just posted something on your other topic because I didn't see this one. Caulk should never be used. Get some Eastwood seam sealer. It's not cheap, but does work very well. Seam sealer has some flex to it and Bondo doesn't. Don't use it because it will crack and leak. The body of the car does flex so you need something that will flex with it. You may have to redo the cowl area with the seam sealer. There is a chance that water is getting past the area where the wiring harness goes into the car.
Do you have a photo of where you are working?

Please post topics in the right area! This is twice now. If your not sure, put it the Off Topic area. I don't want to come off like a jerk, but you are making more work for the Mods and making it hard to post help. I want to help you and like to do so, but posting in the wrong area makes it hard. There needs to be something in the FAQ that tells people where to post. Or is there? I think there is. Is there a way to get new members to read it before posting?
Sorry Kevin, it's been a bad few weeks and I didn't mean to take it out on you.
