Quick Q. Plug wire routing...

Can somebody tell me where each wire should connect to on an 89 Beretta w/ 2.0 TBI and DIS? I just changed the head gasket on my car and I'm not sure if it's backfiring and idling like crap because of the wires are not going to the right coil pack towers or something else.

The cylinders are 1-2-3-4 from left to right standing in front of the car.
The coil pack is 4-1 and 3-2 and should be marked.

therer's no markings. I connected like you said and now it doesn't even start. is 4-1 for the top coil pack and 3-2 for the bottom one?
