Driverside leak

Most of the time the water is coming in from around where the wiring harness goes into the body. I can tell you not to use tar and caulk is a no no. A body or windshield sealer works best. The area must be clean before you do it. It's better to get all the old stuff out of there, but if you clean it up real well you can still keep the old sealer. Be sure to build up the sealer around the connecter and make a slope so the water runs away from that area. The cowl area can leak also, but try the wiring harness first. Keep an eye on it, if you miss a small spot it can show up later.

Pull back your carpet and sound dedening and look at where the fenderwell and floorpan/firewall meets. Thats where the majority of my leak was. Tear out all of the old caulking and start fresh. Look for rust too, Mine was in pretty bad shape.
