What is the correct name for that lower intake pipe that goes to the heater core?
Image :)

Or if someone knows a part number that works in its place, that would be just as fine. Be sure to list where that part number coincides with.

:Search:  :unknown:

I do not want to tap that portion of lower intake. I just want the o-ring size/pn#.

#10 (Lower Intake Outlet Tube Seal) Seal Part Number 24504709

#15 (Water Pump Housing Seal) Seal Part Number 10189205

Those metal pipes go to the heater core. One goes to the water pump, one goes to the bottom of the LIM. Lines from a 3100 beretta would be best to start with. :)

What size is it? I bought a box of a Air conditioning O-rings at the parts store. There may be the right in one of those packs and those things are better than the rubber ones.

I don't know the size, my current tube was mia with the motor, and the tube I have doesn't have it on it anymore. The other motors are runners and I don't want to mess with something that isn't broke at the moment.

Anyone have the pipe and o ring laying around on hand to measure?

Updated. One could start a nifty black market with GM o-rings/seals.

And a little side note* If you don't have a dealer discount available, take some KY with you. I would hate to read about anyone paying full price. I probably wouldn't have bought the water pump housing seal if I didn't have a discount.

My kit doesn't have that size in it. It does have a 13.8mm x 2.5mm though.

Seriously, the dealer mark up on the o-ring even it it was huge isn't going to be more than a buck... LOL Stuff like that is cheap, its stuff like lugnuts and crap like that that costs you.

If I told you that the total price for the two orings WOULD have been ovre 15.00, what would you say to that?

I will say, that the T stat pipe oring seal was cheaper of the two.

I am in Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetroit. lol

Like I said, if you plan to service that area within the engine, I'd advise risking a leak before letting them one two'ing you in the poop shoot. It was legal robbery!

I wonder what the p/n was and what GM list is... They have to be adding on some "fees" of their own.
