Hello every, I'm having a strange problem with my car. Tonight I drove it for the first time since I got it back from the alignment. First 10-15 miles it was fine, then the front end started shaking realllly bad around 80 mph or so I figured it was just a unbalanced / messed up tire. So I slow down the shake is still there. But I noticed after hitting a bump or hitting the brakes the shake stopped so I thought maybe an axle. I get to a corner covered in ice I ended up having to spin the tires a little to get traction so I could get home. Ses light comes on. So I get out my faithful jumper wire and check it come back with a 12 ( normal op) a 62 (transaxle shift signal) and a 66 (I cut one of the sensors to the ac on accident). So now back to my question . Can anyone go into a little more detail on this, the trans felt like it shifted nice and smooth. As I said its a 92 gt with the 3sp. Any help would be great. Thanks -brandon

Your car has a 3t40 and it is mechanically controlled, not computer controlled.

Also Code 62 in my book is related to oil temp.

I'd double check the code, and you can try unplugging the TCC Solenoid if it's still plugged in.

They can be troublesome.

I also didn't think it was computer controlled but berettastuff.com says that it deals with the trans... And the oil temp would make sense but, after leaving the car sit allnight (checked the oil to make sure) and drove it up to 70 took about 5 mins cause I left it run a little bit and it kicked back on around 65-70

Edit; the more I'm thinking about it you are more than likely right... Would a voltage spike cause this to happen? I've been noticing a big differences in my voltage sometimes under the half mark sometimes over the 3/4 mark. Would this have anything to do with it? Didn't know if it was a voltage error its getting. I think the front end may have just been ice caped on the inside of the rim... Drove it to the car wash got a good underbody spray and it stopped? So I don't know anymore any help would be great, thanks - brandon

If you're getting erratic voltage spikes, get your alt. checked asap. The voltage regulator may be going out and spikes through your system can end up causing some serious damage. GL.
