i have a 1990 gtz, and the engine and clutch were
installed new two years ago. now the clutch will not
release compleatly when pressing the petal to the
floor. i can not get the car in gear when started,
i must stop the engine then put it into gear and
still feel the car creep foward when started. it has a
new slave cyl. mech. says the master is o.k. but the
clutch is worn or problem with fork. i thought when
the clutch wears out it just would not grab as good
or would slip. it seems to me the slave is not going
in far enough. anybody else have this problem ?
is there a way to make shure the slave is going in far
enough ? sounds like the master to me but the mech.
says its the clutch............... please help

Mine has A similar problem but w/ mine I have to let the clutch out a bit before it'll go into first. but mines a synchronizer(sp) going out in the tranny.
    I was always told to replace the master and slave in pairs. s/ thing about the new would weaken the old. Of course it could be just old mechanics talkin.
    when the slave was replaced was the plastic cap left on the plunger it's suppose to act as a bushing, if it's gone it might not be pushing in far enough.

if there are no air in the hydraulics your clutch fork probably needs to be replaced.  How does the pedal feel? it should have some resistance.
