Hey people,

Been a while since I was on here. My girlfriends '91 GT (auto) has a problem with the fuel gauge. She went through a whole tank and the gauge never left the full mark. Is this a common problem/easy fix?

It's possible the needle may just be stuck.  If not, it is probably either the motor in the cluster or the fuel sender in the fuel tank.  You might also check some of the wiring in between, especially right next to the tank where there is a connector.  Hope you get it figured out, Ron!

Have you replaced the fuel pump lately, if so, if the pump and all those other goodies inside the tank are put in wrong it can mess up the fuel guage!
