Looks clean thats for sure. That side molding is wayyy better then the chunck of rubber glued on the side of my car. I've got the older style thats what inch and a half. Does look a lot cleaner without them as well still want your trim package and that spoiler!!! If you ever come accrost one let me know I'm all about outing that rear window breaklight.

Very pretty!! Side moldings suck. Best thing I ever did was have them removed from my GTZ when it was painted.
Those spoilers are not all that hard to find and DTM Ace can set you up with a killer LED spoiler brake light.

I did my own conversion way back when... 02.. 03? when you could buy the bar from autozone for $17, cut 2 leds off the end and glue it in.
I've had this car for almost 10 years now...
But yeah these spoilers are a dime a dozen, but then again why waste the money if your car doesn't run!

Boy that is clean! I would have trouble driving it, let alone parking it in some lot with the way people drive around here. If you were way in the back they would still find a way to run into you. Nut jobs!

Wow and it looks that good? I would have thought it would have had less miles.
No rebuilt or newer engine?

I bought it in '01 with 123,000 miles on it. When I did a preemptive headgasket last year with my cams, it was discovered that the engine was replaced at some point. Not sure when exactly. I don't think the owners previous to me did it, and that is as far as the trail went.
I take very good care of it, which makes me cringe whenever I find new rock chips in the paint. If you look close at the hood, you can see the fist dent from the idiot I bought it from. He tried to regal me with not so funny drunk driving stories when I bought it... "Thish car, it knew the way home, Hic!"

What a dumb story that guy gave you. Some people just don't care. Hell I didn't even see a dent. I saw the paint chips and didn't think much about them. The car still looks great even though it has chips.
What cams did you put in?

W41 cams from an SCX. They were actually free...

Man you are lucky. Newer engine and some hard core cams. That kind of thing never happens to me. I pay and pay and pay. I do give things out for shipping or free. I did get an upper 3400 intake for shipping though.
Those chips will just get bigger. Any plans to fix them?

I'm keeping an eye out for a replacement hood with better paint on it in the meantime, but I want the car will be repainted in the next 3 years or so. Just need the money first.
The cams were free money wise, but I had to put in a lot of time and effort into cleaning them up. It actually ended up being like a zen meditation to me. If I had to pay myself, it would be just under what cams usually go for with hours spent. They had mad surface rust as they had been removed and thrown into the trunk, which someone had taken the deck off at the yard. Luckily they were not exposed too long. After cleaning them with WD40 and fine sandpaper, had a machine shop check them for wear and damage. They came back awesome, and after I explained why I needed them checked he said, "for 50k mile cams? I'd run these!".
I actually found a before picture, but I guess I don't have any of the after.
