Slave cylinder pressure lines

Post by 2nejunkie »

Has anyone had to change the slave cyl hydraulic line?
Has it been switched to a metal line?

I did mine, It worked great.

I also had one made for Rodney, but the shop messed it up and made it way to long.

Its pretty easy to do on the internal slave cars.

External mine is.
Temp fix is snow plow hydraulic line cut spliced and clamped.
What line did you use? Nylon? or Metal?
I am thinking about a braided line.

yup, no bleeders.
Braided is the way I want to do it. Did your pedal get soft?
With mine the soft pedal is a result of a turned/machined flywheel and a crap pressure plate.
SS Braided is ok? The line I have has a nylon liner inside a braided rubber hose.
