tstat

did the t-stat on the 96 beretta 3.1. those gm engineers are evil to design an engine like that with everything so hard to get to! heard that I had to take off the exhaust heat shield but that was a waste of time. got all 4 bolts off but the thing but it doesn't come off. found that I had to remove the throttle body (pain in the neck) to get to the tstat housing bolts. I ended up having to pull those two small radiator hoses off that metal pipe that runs past the throttle body in order to get the throttle body off. I also had to pull the metal piple off the water pump housing too in order to move it. what a pain.
