im having problems with my z26 still. to those of you that remeber me from bstuff i have been having problems with this thing for while ... it is ideling really rough and spits and sputters all the time when you get on it or are just regular driving it. i have replaced a long list of things and still seems to not run right.
things i have done are
both crank sensors
cam sensor
new o2 sensor
new coils and icm
both sensors on throttle body
new plugs and wires
new upper intake gaskets
new fuel pressure regulator injector orings and deep cleaned the injectors
i have no idea what this could be besides the computer, does anyone no what else it can be i hate to keep putting money into things that it isnt. also if anyone has a link to a way to check the check engine light codes on it bc its a 95 and the locals stores dont hold a dyognostics computer for the obd1

Have you even looked at the computer? Its in a retarded location. The air inlet for the heater system is right above it, and thats obviosly open to the elements under the black plastic vent cover on the outside of the car. The only thing that keeps water out of the car there is a shitty rubber seal under that vaccum solinoid for the heater. If that seal is broken you have water dripping down basically right over the computer.
I suggest just physically looking at the computer for corrosion/etc.

If you know anyone local with an ALDL cable and software like TunerPro RT you can check the codes yourself. In a pinch you can also try the paper clip trick by jumping two of the ALDL port pins and counting the flashes of the SES light. Then you just need to find out what the code number is for.

No, it talks like OBDI but its programmed and designed like OBDII so there is only one wire going to the com port, plus a power wire IIRC.
Woody... Were you ever able to jumper your 95? That only works on 93 and older berettas. Look at the Com plug the two wires your supposed to jumper don't exist.

You can check the ohms on all the injectors, shouldn't be any below 10. Otherwise, a scanner is the best bet. A compression test might be a good idea also.

Sounds like the typical bad O2 sensor, check it out and replace it, bet it helps 100%

Wow you changed all that and not the MAP. Or is it a 96? That would be both MAP and MAF right?
2nd on the fuel filter. Did you Sea Foam down the booster? Could have a huge carbon build up. Hope your running AC plugs. Others can cause problems.

ok i got a fuel pump pressure tester and it showed up that it was way over presured the thing it led down to is either a pump or a fuel pressure regulator i have changed the regultor before with a good used one but it hasnt seemed to help, does anyone no anything i can try before i go and tear out the pump
