actually no i don't. just silverstar ultras. we had a customer that came in wanting the hlamps on his acura tinted the same color as his car. so i got to thinkin and i figured candy paint was the way to go because it is translucent to start with. 3coats of cobalt blue candy and 3 coats of high velocity clear coat. they actually shine brighter and i have alot of visibility at night. plus they look sweet.

I think there is an illusion with the "brightness" you think your getting. Any time you paint or coat something you are decreasing the VLT of that item. Maybe the fact that you've now made the light whiter makes you think the output is brighter but in fact it is decreased.

Biggest thing to be careful with that is most state police will give you crap if your headlights are heavily coated with something due to the VLT drop on doing that, so since these stick out like a soar thumb as being coated some states could give you crap. You may be lucky in yours and not be bothered.

Ummmmm I guess whatever works for you. But it doesn't seem to go with the overall look of the car in my opinion. Props to doing a decent job and not half-assing it though! :D

Tinting the lights just doesn't do much for me I guess. Though I do know some places tint the bulbs instead, giving the same look, without compromising the actual lens. Maybe its your camera or something, but that blue just stands out too much on the headlights when they are off Way obvious. Tail lights don't look to be a problem though, I can just tell they are darker is all. Hell the beretta's are notorious for being too dark even as stock.

Not to bad, once you get around to painting the car it might look really good.
