I just bought a new Stanley 2M Series Spotlight and I wanted to use my cigarette lighter as a charger for it. Came to find out, the lighter doesn't even work. This is the first time I've ever attempted to use it. After doing a little research, it would seem that the problem could be a blown fuse or perhaps the lighter is too dirty.
Any idea which fuse # is for the lighter? And how would I go about replacing the actual lighter if the fuse isn't the problem?

Mine did work and 1 day stopped working i have yet to check it because i dont use it often, most lighters work off the radio and or interior light fuse so if those things are working then the fuse is prob good. but you could pull each fuse and check them to be sure.

I think mine is the plug itself needs to be replace bad connection inside (dirty) corroded maybe.

I fixed it. It was the fuse after all. There's a chart on the back of the fuse box cover which list all the fuses and describes what each fuse is for. The lighter and trunk are on fuse #6 (orange 20 amp fuse).

Sorry should have said that. Those covers do fall off alot and get lost. I was going to check mine today for you.
Rusty inside the lighter?

I would replace that lighter socket though. Looks like an awful bad connection. Lots of rust. A new lighter , socket and all might cost you a whopping $5. Worthy investment imho.
