so like the topic says, i went to the jyard today, heres what i found, some good stuff.
i'll save the best for last...
heres a red z26, interior and front bumper trashed, not much good left to it.

this is what i had to walk on, by the time i left the place i was a profesional ice walker! =)

mint grey dash, 94-96

lots of the 2.4l twin cams, complete with idi's and all. not sure if quad 4 and 2.4l twin cam idi's are interchangable.

decent blue interior with a MINT blue dash!!! again, 94-96, not sure if 93- is the same.

northstar v8 anyone? i think its like $95 a motor if ya pull it, might be worth it for some of ya.

i nearly cried when i found this...
but it was all better when i found this, i didnt grab it, but im tempted...
yeah, thats a 3800 supercharged engine, with the supercharger still there... hehehe, YET!

I could use a nice gray dash. I will not ask you to get it in the cold. Will it still be there when it gets warm out? Very hard to find one in this area.

That ice is nothing... I've been on my roof for the past two days first shoveling off the house to get rid of the 20+ inches of snow, and then I did the garage today so I could break up the ice dam at the end... Talk about learning how to walk on ice quick!

Looks like normal salvage yard stuff to me, didn't really see anything rare or anything I would call really good stuff! It is nice to see older GM stuff in the yard though! Pick while the picking is good, if you wait too long it'll be gone!

well up my way, we don't see gtz's everyday, in fact, its only the 3rd 91+ gtz Ive seen in the junkyards in the last like 6 years, and Ive yet to see a 91+ quad Beretta. and superchargers and mint dash's aren't every day seeings either.

i need some brackets for the side moldings on a z26 not the ones on the doors but the ones that cover the rockers. shipping for the moldings would suck i can find some here but i need some good brackets... forgot to take my drill to pop the rivets on the ones i found in the fall and it woulda been crushed shortly after i was there since i stripped the whole car clean.
I could have had a good running north star engine for nothing, the neighbor at our shop was hard up for cash and sold it to my dad to scrap it, a month before that he was trying to get me to race him cuz he thought it was fast. 1 day i caught him going into town i slowed right down till he was on my bumper and punched it and i pulled away from him the whole way and i know he was hammering on it. his excuse was he had a bunch of stuff piled in the car and alot of whieght and was low on gas, i could see the front of his car lifting so i know he hammered on it and i walked away.
My friend scraped a 98 grand prix supercharged cuz the rear strut mounts were rotting out of it, it was still insured and plated. i made him take the supercharger off and we took the lower part of the intake too, it ran great but the strut mounts were shot to hell.
Theres a couple scrap yards close to me with a couple beretta's but they want too much for anything, they wanted 40 bucks for a used egr valve.
Found a really cheap wrecking yard.. but there was only 1 beretta, 95/96 z26 and i stripped the whole car, bumpers/headlights/tail lights/ trunk lid with spoiler / MINT hood not even a stone chip. all the seats, the side plastic panels and window pillars, Engine cradle and ECM. and a bunch of other small stuff, wasnt alot left of it lol. i paid 140 bucks for 2 truck loads, and sold the ecm and engine cradle to a guy for 80 bucks. Score... wish there was more berettas there i would strip every single one of them for the price they charge.

I have about 40-50 Beretta's to get parts from within 5-12 miles of my house! No shortage here, that's for sure! lol
