4t60 problems

So I think I finally killed my Z26 trans. I don't know enough about automatics so what its doing has me wierded out.
when I start the car cold it drives and shifts fine. Although "fine" is a loose term here. So after maby 2 min it gradually fades from "fine" to no shifting and 100% slip Zero forward motion.

It picked a bad time to die as I just sold my van and my other 3 cars are hibernating

I have another trans lined up from Cackparts as this thing definitely needs to go. When it works "fine" it shifts with a jolt, makes a lite grinding kind of noise, has lots of friction (19mpg last fill up) and when I put it in park it rolls a foot and a half forward.

Any suggestions for putting the new-used trans in? Any sensors/ actuators that should be replaced.

No actuators need to be replaced, but just make sure it has the right side cover before you go to get it in there...

The only other question would be what year is your current trans and what year is the new one? The years had different tone rings on the differential so you may get a higher MPH reading if you swap in a 96+ trans into a 94 or 95.

Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.
