Gas had already jumped to $3.39 in the recent week, and now jumped to $3.55 today in an hour. SIXTEEN cents in one day! I'm starting to get DAMN tired of this.

Discuss......

Yeah, this sucks. Now to put fuel in my GTZ and other vehicles that require high test, I'm paying $3.75 per gallon and rising..... Damn Libyans and their stupid rebellion.... Now they're saying Saudi is having problems and $5.00 a gallon by April is forseeable...

LOL it's not them. It's the people tha make the gas. Everything else is a lie just so they can bump up the price. You really think it costs them three bucks to make it? More like fifty cents. We have to pull together to force lower prices.
Eveyone just goes oh well there is nothing we can do about it. That is why they get away with it. You think that crude has never hit this high? They just BS to make more money.

Same crap: saw a company online selling AEM intakes for $1,238. The normal cost is $235.00, but it's legal here is the US to screw people.
American Airlines made an exrta 750 million last year and they charge the most. But that's ok, we just have to live with it.

I pay 3.91 for 93 since thats all thats available in my area that is a high enough octane for my Legacy... If they had 91 in my area I would get that but its not available anywhere.

Everything in our country cost wise is typically based on the stock market... and unfortunately that can really f with things when "investors" get scared... but at the same time can turn things around and make things better... No way to get around it unless the whole system is overhauled and unfortunately no one will ever agree on changing anything regardless of how fucked up it may be.

Up another nickel again this morning. No worries kids - its happening to all commodities and soon the bottom will fall out of it again just as it did a couple of years ago. You'd think they'd learn but i guess the few that hoard the money need more money. Also, i wonder what would happen if the media said the price of gas would be back to $2.00/gallon??? I think alot of this is fed off the media too. Economists get on the news and 'predict' where gas prices (or any other price for that matter) will be and that gives those that set prices all the reason they need; because the economists say so. But i know that isn't entirely true either. Working in the steel industry is very similar to fuel - steel mills (and refineries) 'adjust' prices based on the demand for the material and the rate of supply. Steel prices are artificially up because steel mills will not put more furnaces online to meet the demand which makes steel prices go up. Same with fuel. Refineries set the 'output' of fuel and control the cost of the gas. This also has to do alot with the value of the American dollar. So long as the dollar is worthless, no one is going to export to the US. There is absolutely NO foreign steel coming into the US right now because the US dollar is worthless right now. Get crap fixed here at home so the value of the dollar will go up and you will see prices go down for everything.
