FE7 strut endlink bracket

I've got some KYB's I'm throwing in the car and need to hook them to my FE7 bar. My current struts have the welded tab for the endlink, but I know there was another setup where the tab was bolted to the strut right with the knuckle. If anyone has a couple of these brackets or even just more information or measurements it would be helpful. I can probably fab my own from scratch, but it would be nice to have a reference. I'm replacing the endlinks with heim joints, so a difference in length between the 2 OEM styles shouldn't be a problem.

check the placement of these compared to the stock weld on's. I noticed differences between the 2 styles a few years ago.

Yes the 92+ (welded on) are longer.

I'm not worried about differences in length because I'm replacing the endlinks with adjustable heim joints. I'd just like some more info on what the bracket looked like. I can probably fab my own, but this is the only pic I've found on v6z24:

Edit: found some good links with part numbers!

Mill it out of a chunk of aluminum or steel and your good to go.

Have you test fitted that bar to see if it clears a V6 application? I can't remember if it was used in the v6 ones that were partly FE7 setup.

nevermind... I was looking at that image backwards... its mounted in the same spot as a fe3 bar... For some reason I thought that was facing the other way and it was forward of the subframe mount, not behind it.

I'm already running the FE7 bar, just need to hook it up to my new struts that don't have a tab. All GTZs, Indys and W26s that had the v6 got the v6-spec FE7 bar and that's what I have...even cleared the rear header you modified! haha

Hmm, these things are getting hard to find. Next time im at the Phoenix junk yard and i see an FE7 car (always see atleast one), i'll make sure to grab the links, brackets and depending on money, the bar.

The endlinks are definitely still available. They must not have updated the system right for the new part number. GM# 88912239 / ACDelco# 45G0090

OMG - woody found my pics, lol.

Good luck making up a set of endlinks, maybe Gerf could use some.
